Drop Dead
Gorgeous

This video installation, a feminist manifesto in disguise, is an invitation to introspection. It's a call to arms against the insidious Girlboss or ‘That Girl’ trends, cultural archetypes that gaslights us into believing that our worth is tied to productivity and conformity.
We are urged to chase a mirage of perfect womanhood, sacrificing authenticity and desire on the altar of unattainable standards. Achievement becomes a performance, validation a fleeting high from external systems that magnify and diminish us in equal measure.

But what if we rewrote the script? What if "productive" wasn't a synonym for "compliant," but a reclamation of agency? To dismantle the capitalist agenda that defines our worth through hustle and perfection. It's a rebellion against the narrow definition of success, a questioning of the very authority that dictates our goals and deems us valuable only when we conform.

Imagine a world where "productive" aligns with our desires, not societal impositions. Where ambition ignites from within, fueled by values we cultivate, not trends we blindly follow. Rejecting the binary narratives of success and failure, and instead, forge our own paths guided by our own desires.
