A.I. Doorbitch

Over time, clubs have consistently upheld door policies, wherein the enforcer, often called the "door bitch," holds sway over who enters. Such decisions frequently rely on appearances, paving the way for prejudice and biases against specific groups, resulting in denials based on personal or club-driven preconceptions.

On the other hand, a stringent door policy acts as a vigilant gatekeeper, ensuring the safety of party-goers from potential threats. Progressive clubs, dedicated to a queer audience, embrace a door policy to establish a safe space. Here, expressive attire is encouraged, with a clear stance against any form of homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or racist behavior.

The question lingers—should there be a door policy? It beckons us to reflect on the delicate balance between security and inclusion within the ever-evolving social fabric.

But perhaps, what if we dared to remove the human element entirely and entrust artificial intelligence with the delicate task of making such judgments?
